Acts of kindness

I was having a conversation with my nine-year-old son the other day when he began to tell me how much he worries about people and the world. Here is a little portion of our conversation.

“Mum, do you know one of the things that worries me the most?”“What’s that my darling?”“When my friends hurt.”“Do you mean when they are sad, or when they are physically hurt – or do you mean when they are hurt by others?”

“When they hurt other people. ‘Cos when they hurt others they are hurting themselves and making their life bad. Then that’s twice as much hurting – actually more – ‘cos it keeps going out bigger and bigger making it worse for more people!”

This is a profound example of how aware and sensitive our children are. And this is only one very small little example of the wisdom that comes from their hearts. It shows how deeply they already know we are all connected, and how deeply we all affect each other.

Our children are so in need of our awareness. AND our own evolution of consciousness that we may be able to support them in creating a world that reflects true peace. It is imperative that we adopt all principles and activities that empower the morals based on UNITY awareness.

The most ancient moral example that is the basis of all religious faiths is still enormously relevant – do to others as you would have them do to you.

It is our acts of kindness that bring to light our love and inherent unity.

Blessings and Peace,

Isira.
